Hollywood has come to Greenwich!
And I do not mean as in California! Kim “Hollywood” Myers has created the most recent buzz at our little gems favored L’escale resty. Playing old world tunes on the baby grand from Sinatra to Ben E. King, our little gem has been graced with one of the most experienced, knowledgable and impressive pianists of our time. Having been flown all over the world to play at embassy’s, palaces, the white house and more, Kim myers brings a sense of nostalgia to the already unique L’Escale bar and lounge. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:30-8:30pm Kim plays all versions of the classics from memory as the room fills with fans and admirers. Clearly bringing in a crowd, L’Escale is more packed these days than I have seen in any prior winter months.
Adding a touch of sentiment and romance I can’t help but find myself anxious in anticipation for Wednesday to roll around just so I can hear Kim do his thing. Kim also has a five piece band and plays for private parties in all areas. Dressed in a tuxedo his sophistication is not only heard through his musical talent. The next time you feel like a glass of wine and a mini escape, come see Kim aka “Hollywood” minus the air fare.

Kim Myers has performed around the United States and around the world, most recently completing a six-month engagement entertaining guests the five-star Dusit Resort in Dubai.

Kim will be playing at Polpo Restaurant Saturday ,October 23,30 Nov 6,13 from 8 to midnight. Last time Kim was there, he just missed seeing Judge Judy. No doubt that you’ll get the star treatment when you head out to their fabulous piano bar to hear Kim. Polpo Restaurant is at 554 Old Post Road, Greenwich, Conn.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life event in Southington, Connecticut this weekend was very special. The music got everyone going, and Kim met some local celebrities who stopped by to listen and support the people walking for cancer research.
